Wedding at Maidstone – Melbourne Marriage Celebrant and MC

as seen in the Herald Sun

Here comes the bride, the groom and of course everybody’s favourite Melbourne marriage celebrant, Mike Larkan.

Overseeing the beautiful couple of Awar Kuol and Nathan Ware on their special day, not only did Mike take the cake as their Melbourne marriage celebrant. But he also took the helm as the MC, keeping guests entertained throughout the celebration.

What else could you ask for in a Melbourne marriage celebrant, the presence of Mike made the wedding day all the more memorable and special for everyone involved. For Awar and Nathan, the day brought all their friends and family together from across the globe, including South Sudan, Canada and the United States, to gather in the heart of Melbourne.

The Happy Couple

Loved up, happy and ready to tie the knot, Awar who is a lawyer and Nathan a screenwriter, first met in 2020 in what has now become the normal way for couples to find each other – online. It was during a trip to Hobart that Nathan upped the romance and asked Awar to become his wife.

The Big Day

When it’s all about location, White Night Receptions in Maidstone was selected to host both the nuptials and reception for Awar and Nathan on February 24. Chosen for its beautiful rear courtyard to say I do; the interior design of the building also captured the elegance they were seeking to make the day truly perfect.

Dressed to impress

A vision in white is really the only way describe Awar, who took everyone’s breath away in her off-the-shoulder gown from designer Bridal House and surrounded by her bridesmaids in burgundy satin dresses. For Nathan, a touch of sentimentality was brought into the mix with his late grandfather’s wedding ring adorning his ensemble which included a burgundy jacket and black tuxedo pants. Not to be forgotten, Nathan’s groomsmen looked dapper in their black tuxedos with burgundy bow ties. Awar and Nathan also featured traditional South Sudanese henna on their hands and arms.

That’s not all folks

This truly incredible and memorable day was captured beautifully by the artistic hands of T-One Image, who didn’t miss a smile, loving glance or fun moment throughout what can only be described as a day to remember.
