What started as shared workouts quickly blossomed into something far deeper – a partnership where they didn’t just train their bodies, but also nurtured their dreams. As Vicky beautifully put it, their shared pursuits helped them grow stronger, both individually and as a couple. The next chapter in their love story unfolded in a truly unforgettable way when Dilshan chose the picturesque backdrop of Thailand to propose in 2023. It was a moment etched in their hearts forever, described by Vicky as “intimate, and a moment that i’ll treasure forever.” A proposal that perfectly set the stage for the magnificent celebration to come.
And what a celebration it was! On January 26, Vicky and Dilshan exchanged vows at the stunning Sandringham Yacht Club. Nestled on the shores of Port Phillip Bay, the venue offered panoramic ocean views, creating a serene and incredibly beautiful backdrop for their special day. The atmosphere was described as peaceful and intimate, making it the perfect setting for their heartfelt union.
Vicky was an absolute vision, walking down the aisle in a spectacular gown from Blanche Bridal in Sydney. The dress was a masterpiece of design, adorned with delicate lace details, a structured bodice, and intricate floral appliques that flowed gracefully into a soft, romantic train – truly a gown fit for a fairytale. Dilshan complemented her elegance perfectly, donning a sophisticated, tailored suit from Dyonsu, exuding timeless class.
The day was filled with unique touches that made it truly their own. Imagine the enchantment as ballerinas graced the reception, adding an artistic and graceful flair to the celebrations.
